My life in Chicago has been good. I love it here. If I had to move somewhere else It would have to be a city because am a City Girl and always will be. Chicago has its perks and has its down sides too but when it comes down to it there's no place I rather be than here. Chicago is amazing in its skyscapers, museums, architecture, and lake even though the lake can be dirty and nasty sometimes its beautiful. I remember this summer being at the lake and there were two artist painting. They were letting people watch them paint. One of the painters was painting the lifeguard chair and an umbrella that was lieing there. When I saw the picture it was beautiful. It looked like we were in florida at the beach like a clean ocean water with a beautiful breeze flowing through.
Growing up here as been wonderful. I have great memories here, like when I was about 5 I remember my father playing softball at Humbolt Park he was in a league so we would go after church every sunday and sometimes during the week. All my closest friends father back then was in the league too.I remember going to the games and playing all day getting so dirty having grass stains or dirt stains on my clothes those were the days but I also have some bad memories here to. I can always come back there and remember those days.
I Love the feel of chicago even though I hate the snow sometimes but its gorgeous when its on the trees, also when it first falls down on the ground and no one has touch it with there feet or cars has made an imprint in it thats a site to see. What do I hate about the windy city is the traffic. The traffic is crazy sometimes it takes sometimes an hour just to get to downtown from where I live and it usually takes 20 minutes or so but besides that I love Chicago like Frank Sinatra says " My kind of town Chicago is"

Thanks Erica...but i know that violence will follow me every where i go,but at least it won't be as highly bad as Chicago in another civilized city.
Also i like your story of Chicago.I must admit i do like when the snow has fallen on objects and no one has touched it yet. It looks beautiful.
Hey girl... great thoughts!
I want you to do 2 things.
#1. Can you find at least one place in your post to put a paragraph break? Where do you begin a new idea? Inserting paragraph breaks will help your reader see your stream of thought.
#2. I want you to go over your post with a fine tooth comb. Are there any run-ons or fragments?
Look at this one:
"My life in Chicago, has been good I love it here."
Do you see how 'I love it here' is a sentence all by itself? If you don't have the correct punctuation, it doesn't make sense.
Try this:
"My life in Chicago has been great, and I love it here."
Or this:
"My life in Chicago has been great. I love it here."
Look through the rest of the post, find as many mistakes as you can, and revise them to make complete sentences.
Remember - read it out loud!
